⚔️ Entering the Realm of Oblivion
Hearken, traveler. The road to Oblivion is not walked by the idle — but for the worthy, the gate stands open. Follow these rites in order, and thou shalt stand among us before the moon turns.
✦ Step I — Obtain Thy Client
No soul may enter the realm without the sacred vessel through which thou dost perceive it.

Once the vessel is downloaded, extract it to a place of thy choosing and let it rest there. Move it not, lest the magic within lose its way.
Shouldst the download falter or refuse thee, it is but a ward of the outer world — wait a short while and try anew, or summon a member of staff.
✦ Step II — Walk the Hidden Roads (ZeroTier)
Oblivion does not dwell upon the common roads where bandits and outsiders roam. It travels by hidden ways, seen only by those granted passage. To find us, thou must first learn to walk these unseen paths.

Once joined, thy name shall be inscribed upon our ledger — but thou art not yet through the gate. Await the blessing of Step III.
✦ Step III — Await the Gods' Blessing
None may pass uninvited. A guardian of Oblivion must look upon thy name and judge thee worthy.
After thou hast joined the network, a member of staff shall authorize thy passage. When the blessing is granted, ZeroTier shall mark thee as Online — and the hidden road shall open before thee.
Shouldst thou linger long unblessed, call out in our community halls (Discord) and a guardian shall attend thee.
✦ Step IV — Inscribe Thine Account
A nameless wanderer cannot be remembered by the Gods. Carve thy name into the eternal record before thou seekest the world.

✦ Step V — Point Thy Client to the Realm
Now direct thy vessel toward the heart of Oblivion. Speak these coordinates true, for a single misplaced rune shall leave thee adrift in the void.
Open thy client and enter:

These coordinates are reachable only to those who walk the hidden roads of Step II. An unblessed traveler shall find naught but silence.
✦ Step VI — Cross the Threshold
With vessel in hand, the road open, thy name recorded, and the coordinates set — there remains but one thing. Enter thy account name and password, choose thy character, and step through.
The Gods of Oblivion welcome all who are worthy. Now go — the realm awaits thy legend. ⚔️
🛡️ Troubles Upon the Road (Troubleshooting)
Even the worthy may stumble at the gate. Should the road resist thee, consult these omens:
- "The realm answers not" (cannot connect / login times out) — Confirm ZeroTier is running and thy name shows Online in its window. If it sleeps, the hidden road is closed. Ensure a guardian hath authorized thee (Step III).
- Thou art cast out at character select (login works, then freezes/disconnects) — Thy hidden road wavers. Rejoin the ZeroTier network and confirm thou art still blessed.
- The vessel will not open / Windows wards it — Allow the client through thy firewall (choose Private networks when prompted). The outer world is merely cautious; thou art not in danger.
- All else fails — Seek the guardians in our community halls. No worthy soul is turned away.
A few notes for you (not for the page):
- Step I still uses your Google Drive link — remember the quota/virus-warning issue I flagged. GitHub Releases or your own
webservice/host will be far steadier once people start downloading in numbers. - The page assumes the distributed client is already pointed at
10.147.17.134:7171. If players have to type it themselves, expect support headaches — I can check yourip and port/folder to confirm what the client is baked to. - If you ever flip the ZeroTier network to public (no per-player approval), delete Step III and tell players they're in instantly.
